The requirements for responsible and efficient processing of raw materials has increased in recent years, particularly in the food industry. Processing systems must be able to provide complete traceability and purity of food products. On the other hand, there is a need for efficiency in which automated systems are also safe for employees.
The demand for total deliveries of our systems is clearly growing. Mesmec has a major share of the market in Finland. and the goal is to internationalise and increase the share of exports even further.
The management and staff of Mesmec have extensive experience and top-level expertise in very demanding projects. Mesmec’s customers are the best in their business. Mesmec can support the customer throughout the entire lifecycle of the system, from planning to delivering and maintaining the equipment. The quality system which is in accordance with ISO 9001-, ISO 3834-2- and EN 1090 standards is an important tool in Mesmec’s operations.
In the spring of 2017 Mesmec received new owners when the acting management of the company acquired a majority stake of the company, and private equity firm Wedeco from Vaasa, Finland become a minority owner. The former majority owner, Ahlskog, and small shareholders sold all of their holdings of Mesmec.
